Family Law Service Packages

1. Standard Child Custody Modification Package

Includes the following services:

  • Client Consultation & Document Review: Gathering information from the client and reviewing all relevant documents.
  • Court Document Preparation: Preparing necessary court documents with the client, followed by a review.
  • Filing & Serving Documents: Filing and serving the prepared court documents.
  • Case Status Review: A written review summarizing the status of your case, including recommended focus and strategy for court.
  • Pre-Court Meeting: A phone call or video meeting with the attorney before your court appearance.
  • Post-Court Follow-Up: Provision of court orders, one follow-up phone call, and two follow-up emails after the court session.

Total Cost: $1800.00 (Flat Fee)

2. Establishment of a New Child Custody Case

This package includes all services provided in the Child Custody Modification Package, but also covers the preparation and filing of a new petition and legal documents to establish child custody orders.

Total Cost: $2,500.00 (Flat Fee)

3. Child Support Services

  • Modification of Existing Child Support Order
    • With Child Custody Package: $650.00 (Discounted when bundled with a child custody service)
    • Without Child Custody Service: $1,000.00 (Standalone service)
  • Establishing New Child Support Case:
    Includes preparation of a new petition, request for order, and financial document preparation.

Total Cost: $1,500.00 (Flat Fee)

4. Domestic Violence Restraining Orders (petition or response)

  • Filing, Initial Pretrial, & Trial:
    Total Cost: $2,500.00
  • Filings Already Done – Up to Two Hearings (one half-day trial):
    Total Cost: $1,500.00

Includes attorney representation for court appearances, and pre-court discussions.

Divorce Cases

Option 1: Mediated Divorce with Attorney
Total Cost: $3500.00 (Flat Fee)
Payment Structure:

  • Initial Payment: $2,500.00
  • Final Payment: $1,000.00 (Due after agreement is reached and martial agreement and judgment is completed) 

Option 2: Divorce Without Children or Spousal Support Contested
Total Cost: $8,000.00 (Flat Fee)
Payment Structure:

  • Initial Payment: $3,000.00
  • Balance: Paid in monthly installments

Option 3: Divorce Without Children but with Spousal Support
Total Cost: $8,000.00 (Flat Fee)
Payment Structure:

  • Initial Payment: $3,000.00
  • Balance: Paid in monthly installments

Option 4: Divorce with Children, Contested
Total Cost: $10,000.00 (Flat Fee)
Payment Structure:

  • Initial Payment: 3,000
  • Balance: Paid in monthly installments

Includes filing of necessary motions such as for child custody, child and spousal support, motions to sell a home, domestic violence restraining orders, and other necessary requests.

Trial-Only Fees

  • Cost per Day of Trial: $1,600.00 (Includes preparation time)
    Note: Most trials are one to three days in duration, typically one to two days.
    Additional costs may apply for subpoena services and trial-related documentation.

Important: Trial fees do not include pre-trial discovery such as depositions, formal discovery requests, or responses.

  • Depositions: $1,000.00 per day (plus costs for court reporters and transcripts).
  • Formal Written Discovery: $1,000.00 per request or response.

Short-Term Services

  • One-Time Court Appearance and Legal Guidance
    • Child Custody Hearing (Non-Trial): $1,200.00
      Includes: Review of documents, up to 1 hour of discussion before court, and 20 minutes of follow-up after the hearing.
      Note: This service does not cover filing or serving court documents.
    • Child Support/Maintenance  Hearing: $750.00
      Includes: Document review, up to 30 minutes of pre-court discussion, and one follow-up call/email after court.
  • One-Time Attorney Legal Guidance Session
    • 30-Minute Session: $200.00
    • 1-Hour Session: $350.00
      Sessions available via phone, video conference, or in person (subject to attorney availability).

Other Fee Arrangements 

Criminal Law & Expungement Services

  • Criminal Law Fees:
    Fees for criminal cases are provided after the initial consultation, with reasonable pricing and clear cost structure from the start. Installment plans are available.
  • Expungement & Dismissal/Charge Reduction Requests
    Base Fee: $750.00 per motion
    Additional motions in the same county: $250.00 each.

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Services

  • Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Fees:
    Competitive fees, generally under $2,000. After a consultation, we will provide an exact fee quote based on your specific case.

Includes attorney representation for court appearances, and pre-court discussions.

Traffic Violations

Most traffic violations are low fixed fees that will be quoted at the time of consultation.
